Ninja creami DO make ice cream. I have one and love it. Your ice cream comes out nice and smooth. You can not get that texture with your blender. The instruction manual warns against using it as a blender. Also it is fun to use.

Amy, I have one of these. Very loud but I love it so much. I make icecream out of chocolate protein shakes and also Greek yogurt with fruit. All turns out good and guilt free for me.

I almost bought one… until i noticed it doesn't actually make ice.. you have to freeze your ingredients first. So basically it's a blender.
