I love Mac!!! 🐈 Cooking rice in the instant pot is so easy. I cook a triple batch and when it cools I put enough for us in freezer quart bags, flatten them out and freeze. It defrost easily and tastes like fresh! Have a blessed New Year!
Just out of curiosity, how are you cooking your rice that it takes 45 minutes? 17 minutes in the microwave, pan fry the way someone else mentioned before me, or invest in a rice cooker. I think I bought a $20 rice cooker from walmart and the rice turns out great!

Cook your rice in your instapot or whatever you use in high quantity. Freeze in portions for family meals. Use for stir fry meals, fried rice, or rice and beans. Just a suggestion. Thanks for your tips and recipes.

I cook regular rice in the microwave. 1 cup rice with 2 cups water. Microwave high for 5 minutes then 50% power for 15 minutes. Perfect every time.

I can't remember if you have an Instant pot or not. But if you do, cook your rice in it. It only takes a few minutes instead of cooking it for a really long time on the stove!

Lol I totally used Instacart today too! I did Aldi and dollar tree. I've already started eating my new years snacks! I got the cranberry goat cheese log and it was delicious.

If you pan fry your regular white rice until some pieces turn golden, then cook it takes maybe 20 to 25 minutes on the stovetop. I think the texture comes out so much better.

If you don't like football, with my four boys, I made simple snacks on New Year's Day morning, wings, nacho dip, chips, raw veggies and dip. Jumped in my car and went shopping. Everything was on clearance, had to pick through stuff but no one in the stores. Found deals for decorations, presents for the next year. 75 – 90% off. Nice haul, cute kitten.
