I wish they would have made the shape the same shape as the 2500 – that rounded look is out dated – you get more cooking height area with the oval shape – they make a good grill but its not the best – they will have to make it oval, have both grates sliding, have a pellet hopper dump, have a direct flame option. This grill should just replace the RT700 and they should actually make a RT1250
If I am grilling a 40 ounce tomahawk ribeye, reverse sear, low and slow, how would you suggest I sear the steak? I would prefer the Camp Chef with the Sidekick or sear station. If you have any suggestions, I’m all ears (or eyes). Other than that….. I ABSOLUTELY love this pellet smoker. Aloha
