I hung some tomatoes on the vine from the grocery on my banana hanger. They were there for quite a few weeks without being disturbed and they didn’t rot.

I have found if you just slice them as usual and plant each slice in a large planter they will grow and produce just fine and no transplanting FYI

I had that happen to me once. I had some beautiful vine tomatoes from Kroger. Sliced them open to see sprouts. Scared the daylights outta me. I was freaked out. I spoke to a professor at UGA and was told that often times this happens when they pick the fruit too early and gas them to brings that beautiful color and you think they are perfectly ripe, they aren't. The seeds don't have that jelly like sac around them. In the grocery store environment is perfect for this. It turned me off from eating tomatoes lol

That's very facinating. I'm anxious to see how well they grow. Update on this, please! P. S. That's kind of a produce purchase bonus if they continue to grow. Hopefully they will. And hopefully they'll produce also.

Hi Tammy! Wow!! That's a first for me…have never seen that before. Hope they transplant OK. Good luck with the seedlings! Let us know how they do! 😊
