Another instapot for this winter.
The pin to lock it pops up due to the pressure – so it's a lock and an indicator of the pot being pressurized enough. Pressure cookers are amazing tools. And that stew looks great. Please make some stuff without mushrooms though… they are ick for some of us. 😉
Sam has protective glasses. You can't shoot him in the eye.

Austin TX here. Not so many flies in the backyard, but we are getting our fluids drained by MF Mosquitos. I'd take annoying flies any day. Great looking recipe. I'll try it. (Fucking Mosquitoes)

I read somewhere that if you set a halved lemon studded with cloves out on a dish….it will keep the flies away. I have not tested this hypothesis myself but I did read about as a solution to keeping backyard flies away when entertaining

Instead of corn starch, dumplings would thicken it well and be tasty to serve with. Also fly traps work great or ceiling fan, flies do not like the moving air.
