Trader Joes is mostly a dark chocolate peanut butter cup store. It's the greatest value in the entire USA to get a pack for 99 cents. Better than premium fancy chocolates.
Emmy, it takes a little longer but if you steam the tamale they taste so much better
Trader Joe's is my favorite of the "natural" food chains. They have reasonable prices (mostly), a good selection, and they aren't as douchey/judgey as Whole Foods.
the green onion pancakes, the thai vegetable dumplings (steamed), and the vegan orange chicken are my 3 go-to frozen favs! I used to also love their mango sticky rice spring rolls but they discontinued them 🙁 this video was such a treat!

They put oyster mushrooms in the green onion pancakes? Crap. I love TJ's stuff, but I'm deathly allergic to mushrooms.
My all-time favorite product is no longer sold by TJs. They used to sell quinoa-based elbow noodles that cooked in three minutes in the microwave. I loved them not just because they were extra healthy but because they cooked so quickly.

I'm English and live in London, but I always make a trip to Trader Joes for goodies to bring home every time I'm in the states! Only ever tried the snacky bits, my favourites are the milk chocolate peanut butter cups and the everything but the bagel crackers!

Would love a trader joe food haul video. Their soup dumplings are amazing and also the orange chicken and vegetable fried rice. The other scallion pancakes are superior, look for them next time if you're interested

I have never been disappointed with TJs frozen foods. Sadly, I live so far away, that I can only get a few things in my small cooler for the 2 hour drive home.

Cheap? Not hardly. Usually not overpriced but far from cheap.
