When I say eastern asia, I meant Korea / Japan / China which are influences that I grew up with! Just so that people don't take it the wrong way…💙💙What other dishes should I try making?

Is it not entitled to say you would be upset if someone who hadn’t spent time or been in a Korean kitchen claimed they could make “the best kimchi”

Chef Ramsey shows people how to make dishes from around the world all the time. He's white. If he can do you can to. I really don't get why people are like this. I don't have this very specific heritage so I have no right to cook it and show others how to do so. That's just BS in my opinion.

😂😂😂 'misrepresentation' 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not Mexican, but I make Mexican food that kicks ass with no apology or explanation. I also make Italian food, Irish food, and Chinese food. And I'll tell you how to make something from your own culture any time of day. No apologies.

You can hear the hesitancy and the active self-depreciation in this because we’re all predisposed to be afraid to participate in others cultures because of the new age political leftism in the US.

Well to be honest if a white person was better than you a making kimchi than I don't see the problem with them telling you how to make the best kimchi (Also I'm not implying she's bad at making kimchi )

Just curious, adobo looks very similar to Chinese red braised pork belly. Does it taste similar? I can see that the spices are different, but the final appearance looks so alike that without the audio I nearly mistook it for the Chinese dish😅
