We eat oxtails! restaurant-style because there's lots of restaurants around here that sell oxtail dinners! Caribbean & Jamaican cuisine! We love it! And we've taken to Mexican and Spanish flavors also! For cooking rice, though – the Spaniard people have it DOWN PAT! , much more than Chinese or Arabs do, although that's a big part of their own diet.

What does oxtail taste like? Pot roast? Beef short ribs? Is it gamey? Is it expensive? I've thought about trying them in the slow cooker with greens on the side, etc. Looks delish!

Oxtail is great. It’s expensive these days, but nice once in a while. There are some good Jamaican style oxtail recipes on YouTube as well.
I never tried those. I’m gonna look them up when I go to the store. As long as they’re not too expensive I might try it.
