How does this one compare to others you have as far as sound level (louder, quieter)?
Not sure for how long but right now Amazon has a $90 off coupon for this…. Wow.
Awesome demonstration. What a fantastic food processor!! Plus, you and Eric are both awesome and fantastic!!
The disks seem to be the exact same as on bosch slicers
Amy – thanks for another informative food processor video. Wow – can't argue with that really large shred-! I can see that being a nice feature. A 'variable speed feature' on the other hand, in a food processor is silly – and merely another part to fail (although an argument can certainly be made for a single slower speed). By design, food processors generally work very quickly, so… what's the point-? It's not a stand mixer.
It's hard to tell out here in internet land, but all the discs seem awfully-thin, and seem to lack a rolled edge – which provides additional strength and stability. Judging from the rather loud sound and very long stopping time – and although the cut-away drawing of the unit implies otherwise – I'm guessing the processor employees a gear box of some sort, so the unit can use a small(er) motor – reducing cost – while sacrificing some rotational speed, but gaining rotational torque.
One issue with [some] food processors is a long coasting time of the rotational shaft – quite clearly seen here. That can easily be the difference between a proper chop or blend, and a mess, when using the Pulse feature – and sometimes even affects the results when using the continuous run feature. Thanks for pointing out the sometimes overlooked downside of a very large/wide feed tube – although virtually all food processors incorporating a very large/wide feed tube feature also provide a reduced size insert, allowing food with smaller dimensions to be fed continuously. Unfortunately, the dimensions of this feed tube almost rival that of the [annoying] 7 & 9-cup current design of the KitchenAid food processors – models more akin to 'toys in the kitchen' then real tools to assist the cook. (Hey – but you can place all the parts inside the workbowl. Yes, a plus – but at what cost to results and performance-?)
The price point for the Magiccos food processor certainly makes it a model to consider for some cooks. Again – thanks so much for demonstrating this equipment-!
❤️
Amy i really like this processor.

Great video! That food processor looks sharp. It reminds me of the Magimix.
Hey! Great find : )
That food processor does a good job for the price it had on Amazon. Thanks for the good review. I just hope that the motor is long lasting.
Wow. Way to Loud
Wow. What a beauty. Thanks
Should had tested ice, it would help to know, myself I loved chopped ice, other than that it looks great for stuff I would use it for.
Thank you!
