This is looks so good! My grandma made these in a soup and they were delicious. Back then they were a cheaper cut to buy at the grocer. You are right Paula, now they are $14.99 a pound at Kroger!!! I will definitely try this recipe when I can afford it LOL – love you Paula – Happy Fathers Day Michael.

Has any one been able to figure out how to send Paula recipes by email? She asks for us to send them, but does not provide how. Several of us have asked several videos ago. Still no response from Paula's staff.

Prices are shooting up because of greed. Not because things are worth more…one of the seven deadliest sins and the devil is at work here This is why there's so little compassion in the world today. Two weeks ago a doctor actually told me, 'doctor's aren't here to service you…they will treat you if they want to'…OH REALLY???!!! OK…sorry about the rant…but greed is making prices shoot up.

That looks so delicious! Glad to see Michael with you today. Paula, that smaller style of glasses looks a million times better on you than those great big purple ones. I've never liked the big square style of glasses, they make me think of the "George McFly" look. Just my opinion. 🙂

Miss Paula, try beef broth instead of water and can add beefy/ onion soup mix as well. Such wonderful flavors instead of plain water to cover oxtails. I do my oxtails low and slow on the stove top. So so delicious

Crocpot, oxtails, veggies, tomato sauce & cooking wine.
Set on low & leave for work…when you get home from work the meat falls off the bone.
BTW the smaller pieces are the best…furthest from the animals pie shooter.

    Thank you Paula 💖
Oxtails can give people the Willy's if they have never had them but if you know how to cook them they are a cheap meat that can be amazing!

I don't know ANYBODY from the south to cook oxtails like that. Not meaning using the pressure cooker but your preparation. We don't put thyme and bay leaves or make fake gravy.
    Sorry but true

That looks SCRUMPTIOUS! I will not let this week end without cooking up a mess of oxtails and feasting on them! They are my very favorite beef. The price has skyrocketed in the past few years. I used to pay $2.99 a lb at an Asian supermarket, now they're $11+ lb at the grocery store. Pro tip, Costco usually has them for $8.99 lb in 5 lb pkg. Well worth the splurge! My favorite way to cook them is to braise them in red wine with shallots, garlic, herbs, a little tomato paste and chicken stock (chicken, not beef stock) for about 3 hours. This creates a rich, thick, luscious sauce and the meat is so tender & succulent. Get you some!
