Do you know how to make the kind of lemon pie that uses frozen concentrate lemonade? I’d love to see you do one. I had it when I was a kid. I am also wondering how it would taste with frozen Lime or Strawberry concentrate. If you do this please holler my name so I hear ya!!! ❤️❤️ ps I made your spaghetti sauce! It’s my favorite!!!

Oh my gosh! I made your recipe exactly for Lemon Icebox Pie. I did bake it at 350° for 20 min. This is the BEST lemon pie ever. I could easily eat the whole thing, so I had a narrow slice & I'm saving the majority for company tomorrow. Seriously excellent 🥧 I'm also sharing your website with younger generation, the Southern cooks/bakers are wonderful. Thanks for sharing & teaching! ❤️ I'm 66. 🧓

I think my mom used to make that, but would pour it into those aluminum ice trays without the dividers in them. I remember it being so good! Yours looks so yummy, Tammy….😄

For those not wanting to use the egg yolks I make one very similar to Tammy’s but use 1 can of sweetened condensed milk 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice mix these together very well then once mixed add 8 oz. cool whip mix together and place in a shortbread cookie crust. Allow to set up in the refrigerator or freezer. It is delicious and taste like you worked really hard on it. Enjoy.

My mom made this also, she used crushed vanilla wafers for crust and whole ones around edges, she made it on a plate. My dad would dream about this pie and would have to have a peice late in nite. Got this and banana pudding with vanilla wafers for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She would make stiff peaks with egg whites and brown alit on top of pie, I like it without this, then leave overnight for wafers to get softer and to set up,,,,and boy it still makes my mouth water, I'll have to make one or two soon. Thanks for the memories ☺❤
