Making Ghee yourself is very easy. I make it from organic butter and (here in Belgium) that saves a lot of money. We pay for 1 kg (35 OZ I think?) organic butter 9,16 Euro ( 10,37 dollars). for 1 kg organic Ghee it's about 26 Euro, that's almost 3 x the price.

We don’t celebrate but I do make us a fancier meal so I am making tagliatelle with Trader Joe’s Truffle Alfredo and some Truffle Carpaccio (sliced truffles) on top with also a sprinkle of Truffle Parmesan tonight and then on Christmas Day we are bringing the dogs to the dog park (that is a big trip because it is pretty far from our house) and then I am coming home and making Trader Joe’s Truffle Gnocchi. Can;’t wait. I am making challah french toast (yes I am eating carbs!) for breakfast with some bacon. Then I will behave myself for the week until New Years Eve. I haven’t totally decided what I am doing for New Years Eve because I have to work until 9! I think I’m going to put together a cheeseboard with some salumi before I leave for work. Don’t know what else I am doing yet.

It is just myself and my 30 year old special needs granddaughter, so Christmas Eve is Cioppino and Christmas Day cinnamon rolls for breakfast, appetizers and charcuterie for lunch, and this year because it’s just the two of us we are doing lobster meat and tenderloin bites with asparagus cucumber tomato salad and that will be our dinner. Merry Christmas!

I’m making a standing rib beef roast, mashed cauliflower and zucchini and making keto garlic rolls. Made keto brownies and, per my husbands’s request, keto key lime bars. It’s just us two this year so very casual.
Hope you’ve gotten all your food prep done so you can relax a little. I’m sure all the girls have helped you. You have taught them well. They will be very prepared for life once they eventually are out on their own. You have the best behaved well mannered adorable kids. Merry Christmas. 😘🎄
