Looks so neat and tidy. Enjoy!
I love the paper planners too ! There is just something about checking off a list !
I've made the clam chowder recipe in that cookbook and it was very good! This soup looks good too! I'll have to try it.
Happy new year Robin. Its a good feeling when you finally sort storage…I've just finished the pantry reorganisation….Thankyou for my inspiration. Much love from Cornwall uk
Hi Robin. Those spices look very well organized. Ty for sharing.
Yummy 😋
I'm a planner too but I just use a lined paper pad 😁
You inspired me!!! Did the whole pantry!
This was great Robin! I plan everything out on paper. My goals are to keep on my budget, eating at home more and continue reading the Bible every night and just enjoy reading more books – started all this in August and so far I’m still going strong. Stay warm this week!!
Well done on all that organising in your kitchen. It looks great!
Enjoyed your video and have to say that the soup looked extremely delicious, it really did. I might give it a go myself.
My goals for 2024 are to be more organised and disciplined in everything. I do okay with that normally, but one can always improve. I want to keep ontop of taking care of my home much more this year.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful week. May God bless you.❤
I just did my spices also❤
I think I need a tutorial on how to effectively use a planner!!! I have purchased so many over the years that were only used for a month or so because they were more work than help. I’ve watched a few videos that have you jumping all over the place for this, that, and the other, I need simple! Would you consider an in-depth “how to”? You have a wonderful way of making things simple and clear.
Robin this was such a great video. I loved your new spice organization. I just refreshed my spice cabinet too. It’s always a work in progress. Oh…and I’ve been trying new soups as well. Kale is a great addition. Much sweeter than spinach I think.
Well done Robin! Your new system looks so nice and should be easy to maintain. I realized while watching this that over the years I’ve adopted so many of your ideas for my own kitchen, that my kitchen now works better than it ever did in the past. I still have a couple minor “trouble spots” but, by and large, my storage works really well. So thank you—and keep the great content coming 😊
I love the way the new spice jars gave you more room. Great video Robin! I can't wait to see what you organize next!
This is a very inspirational vlog, Robin! My spice drawer is pretty untidy and the toothpicks fell into it over the holidays! A tidy up is in store! I keep my 'extra' spice packages in large coffee tins. This doesn't really work as I have no idea what's in the tins and I have to use a step ladder to get to them! I definitely need a re-think! Keep warm! (It will be 30degrees Celsius here in Victoria, Australia tomorrow!!)
I internalize regular schedules and both long-term and short-term plans. For something that isn't like appointments, I write the place and time on a simple wall calendar. Right now I mostly season my servings for everything except sinigang (Filipino sour soup) with nutritional yeast (kills my knee pain) and Cavender's Greek Seasoning (tastes delicious). I ordered CookingatPam'sPlace new spice blend but it hasn't arrived yet. For the last several weeks she's been posting more food recalls than I have ever heard in my entire 44 years. I'm 5'4 and have proportionally short legs so I usually need a step ladder for higher shelves. Mom does as well as she is 4'7. Still the same goals from last year. Get a job and then hopefully a place for the three of us. I did ask a chef if I could transcribe or data entry for him on his website but haven't got a response back yet. I primed and painted my desk that is currently in the bedroom ECOS chalk paint in Film Noir which is a brown color. Then I topped it with a wax coating. Ruined some of my clothing though. Need to get a painter's outfit for next time as I still have to do the remaining pieces that are outside and for future furniture. Not going to unbox them until I move as the drawers keep sliding out when it is moved. They cannot be removed. Brown and blue are my favorite colors. My accessories are always one or both of those colors. I also got two little bowls to hold my forever potpourri in lime in de coconut from Sweet Harvest Farms. The house smelt like there was a dead turtle underneath it. My brother found a rat up in the attic.
Thank Robin. Have a nice day.
I just ordered the Instapot cookbook to try to use mine more. Hopefully I won't be as intimidated by it. Looks like a good thorough book.
I love a good organizing project like your spice cabinet. You nailed it! And the soup looked delicious. I'll give that one a try. Thank you ❤
Hello Robin, I’m with you with a paper planner. I’m a visual person and a paper and pen girl 🤗
Wow what a lot of spices and herbs. The jars were beautifully pleasing to the eye. I have about 15 spices and herbs.
Have a lovely week 🌿
Thanks for an inspirational video. I definitely too prefer a paper planner. On of my goals for this year is to be more consistent with my weekly plan, since I know it works.
Love your new spice jars. I need to redo my spices also. You are growing your hair out. It is so pretty
You did an amazing job. ❤❤ Thank you so much for sharing.
