Well they didn't talk about its APP (Cookidoo) and how it helps you plan your meals by calories and days in a calendar, so if you want to loose weight you don't have to go on a diet you just hate..or its WiFi/Memory card that stores your favorite recipes…it's a cooking robot. Yeah it's pricy but it's also awsome….i think the new model even does sous-vide cooking.

Everything is integrated one thing goes wrong and possibly disables the the soul of the machine. It would have to have a hell of a warranty throwing away a 1500 machine becomes a possibility

I know no professional chef who would use that at least a good one. Chefs can be within 1 oz of an onion and set temperature, as if home cooks dont need or want that. Precision is for baking, most of cooking is visual a pro chef knows by eye usually

I think 1500usd is pricy but the quality that vorwerk produces is one of a kind. We have the kobolt Hoover for almost 40years and it's still working and one can still buy the bags. My next buy is the tm6

I remember when my mom bought the TM31, wich was the one that gave Thermomix (here we call it Bimby) it's popularity. The TM31 was 1000€ that time. Since then, many brands have come up with their own kitchen robots like Moulinex and some supermarket brands, but nothing beat the Thermomix in terms of quality. Tests' magazines always put the Thermomix as the best.

Many years have passed and I don't live with her anymore.
About 6 months I thought of buying a Thermomix and, even if Vorwerk already launched two versions after the TM31, I still wanted to get the one that I was confortable with, so I bought a used one for 350€. Besides, the later one (the TM6) costs 1275€. I've never been good or interested at cooking but after I met the Thermomix my desire to produce recipes in it skyrocketed! It's a really easy and helpful tool in every kitchen. Besides, the food you make there is really good, and you reduce your chance to mess things up in the kitchen. Plus you can make a recipe one time after the other and they both come out the same.

Is it worth 1275€? When you have other brands' robots at a quarter the price? It's a bit heavy compared to other brands but I guess it's like buying a Ferrari instead of a Renault, so if you can afford, absolutely get the Thermomix.

I have a Thermomix TM5 and also the Kenwood Cooking Chef. I love them both. For some recipes the Cooking Chef is better and for some, the TM5 is better. Even thought I have both those amazing machines, some things are better done by hand…. Well, that is just my personal opinion.

What if you just buy this and not buy a lot of other stuff? Now the 1500 bucks are a little more in perspective. All i can say is that in my social circle one girl got this as a gift from her parents and everybody thought they were crazy. Forward 2 years and EVERYBODY ordered one. That's the kind of marketing that makes you spent 1500 bucks.

Cool thing about this is that you can get it on installment plan, which my mom did.
And I got to say that it was worth every penny.
