Tiny bit of oil….what they use in commercial ice cream….will keep it more creamy. Being predominately water based it freezes like an ice cube! Tried your recipe for the strawberry….loved it! You are a great cook! Thank you so much for sharing!

Great Value brand of HWC , which is the brand shown here, has 1 gm carbs Per Tablespoon. There are 16 tablespoons per cup. This recipe calls for a whole cup, which means 16 carbs, not 6. Either Wal-Mart lied about the carb count in their HWC, or…..

FYI you can make your own powdered sugar just by processing regular sugar in a blender or clean coffee grinder. You can also use this method to make popcorn salt from regular salt.

Tastes awesome, but I don't understand the macros. If there are 16 grams of carbs in one cup of heavy cream, and recipe makes 3 scoops, then it's more like 5 g carbs per serving, right?

Am I missing something or am I just calculating wrong? You say 2 net carbs per scoop. Unless mine didnt make as much or those are tiny scoops, there should be 16 net carbs in the entire batch right? My heavy whipping cream is 1 carb per 1 tbsp, and 1 cup of heavy cream is 16 tbsp, which means 16 carbs right?

I’m sorry, but this whole “net carb” thing was 100% fabricated by companies trying to market their products to a relatively untapped Keto market. The term “net carb” doesn’t exist in any meaningful form of scientific literature, and in reality doesn’t change the molecular structure of glucose, fructose, dextrose, and other sugars, and the way it is metabolized in your body. You may as well try to eat spoonfuls of sugar, then take straight fiber supplement right afterwards. The fiber does not magically “trap” the sugar and keep it from eliciting an insulin response and being metabolized. Moral of the story, count all carbs unless from natural, unrefined, unprocessed sources.
