The first time you make these, I advise really keeping an eye on them as they bake. Ovens can vary wildly in terms of hot/cold spots and calibration. You may find that you need to alter the temp by up to 25F depending on your oven.

I have yet to try lupine flour, but this looks good.

I came here to see if you resolved your strange odors issue in your nose. I was researching DMSO and found something interesting. Someone had the experience of the smell of burning matches. They were led to having an MRSA test in the nostrils and tested positive. I had spent awhile vvisiting my mom in the hospital and probable subjected myself to that. Anyway, it is sommething to check in to.

I recently watched a video by Modernist Pantry. They have "Perfected Xanthan Gum" & "Perfected Guar Gum" meaning "it mixes more quickly and easily while eliminating lumps and gum balls". Would love to hear if you have tried it.

Ok, really Steve! You grind your spices and then use jarred garlic?!? If you're not going to use fresh, you should at least try the garlic paste in the tube. That's my shortcut. 😁😁

I made these tasty morsels today!!! Very yum, the only change I made was to fry off the onion so it was soft as I find adding raw onion never cooks properly when added in the oven. This recipe is a keeper. Thank you.

I used to have clients who had a Greek restaurant. I ate there all the time. I'm so glad to see this recipe. I found some keto wraps at Aldi from Love Ovens. They are not bad. I will try them with this recipe. I love fresh lime or lemon squeezed on them with lettuce, onion, tomato. Wow! Sounds so good! Thank you Steve!

Hi, Steve, Any reason I can't sub Ground Lupin Bean for the Flakes since you puree it anyway? I just ordered some.
It's so funny— I just typed Keto Falafel into search 4/9, and my order just arrived!

I'll try it definitely. Instead of following recipe exactly, I'll do it traditionally…only parsley, garlic, salt, cayenne, cumin. Lupin flakes,HUH, who knew!

This video has everything! ASMR onion slicing, the collective flinch we all experienced when your boiling lupini flakes ALMOST boil over and a measurement “boop!”

What I would give to be in your kitchen with those aromatics. This recipe is next level Steve!
