The Bourbon in "bourbon vanilla" is most definitely like the whiskey bourbon lol. That's what vanilla extract is. It's a vanilla bean soaked in alcohol. Different kinds of alcohol can be used. So when you see Bourbon, Bourbon was used to soak the vanilla bean.

They do make Bourbon based vanilla though! It’s fantastic and adds great depth to baked goods. Instead of them making it with a clear alcohol they just use bourbon in the base.
We have a store here in Louisville Ky called bourbon barrel foods and they actually incorporate bourbon into spices as well.

These look delicious! I added this into Carb Manager as “Cran’s Keto Iced Cinnamon Muffins” and they’re about 2 carbs, 18g of fat, 5g of protein and 198 calories each. I also used a screenshot of Crans’ epic mom judging face (after the outfit change at 6:04) for the recipe icon 🙂
