You gotta take that for a swim! What was that bottom dip? Then you pull it instead of thin slices!?! Com’on man, you’re from Chicago!
Blasphemy this dude should be ashamed of himself
He toasted the bread omg wtf . Nobody toast the bread 🥖 are you kidding
That’s not a Italian beef ok . I truly know him and his family . There from Taylor street . I’m surprised he did this . It’s a shredded beef sandwich basically. I’m sure it’s good but definitely not A Chicago Italian beef at all .
It's a sliced beef sandwich. Not an obliterated flaky pot roast. Get it right.
That's NOT a Chicago Italian Beef
All the haters in this dum comment section know that this sandwich is going to be delicious
Shredding the beef, what the hell part of Chicago did you grow up in, Winnetka? I'm 76 and have started with Carm's beef, until they got too salty. In 1971, I had my first Mr. beef's on Orleans. Our son now brings us Mr. Beef's to Des Moines, Iowa. They don't have a clue how to make them here. 52 years of heaven. Shredded beef, you should be neutered.
I thought I was the only one from Chicago that was mad but then I looked at the comments lmaooo. Like wheres the thin slices of beef?!?! Idgafffff I love cheese sauce on mine!! Just not too much sauce. This dude making italian beef sandwiches from Alabama or sum cuz it's not chicago. Who tf strains the juices?!?!
The girls at the table are looking at the guy like damn you get the first bite… lol 😂. Sandwich looked really good though it could use crispy onions.
Mr. Mauro, that sir is not an Italian Beef… I'm at a lost for words on this one.. You know better! Don't ever do that again, co-host look like they wanna laugh.🤦♀️
Him only dipping like the bottom half of the sandwich really bugged me
This Chicago girl cannot watch this without my eyes bleeding.
Italian beef can have cheese
The dislikes are Chicagoans fyi… lol. That ain't an Italian beef.
Don't recall any sweet peppers that were ever "swimming in oil".
Smh hang it up bruh
“a lot of season” adds salt and pepper chile where the rest of the seasoning??
Food Network is a joke, PBS has the best food content of any network.
That is entirely too dry
Katie lee I love you so much because you are my favorite chief in the world because you are my favorite friends in the world because you are my favorite chief executive of my Family Love Katie Lee
Zakarian is just playing along. "Vibrant" mockingly when he says it. Nobody has ever praised a green bell pepper.
Also, nobody has ever pulled their beef for any beef sandwich. Even a goddamn brisket gets sliced. No matter how well you braise beef, it NEEDS to be sliced. For an Italian Beef, it needs to also be soaked in the au jus. Most places just keep sliced beef held in it until ordered.
The guy yapping is pretty good.
Where in chicago do they make Italian beefs like this? Not portillos nor al's.
I hope no one thought this was how a Chicago Italian Beef is actually made… What a joke!
big fan but this is swing and miss for Chicago beef….peppers burn off skin…this isn't pulled pork…THINLY slice meat…finally dip like your mean it sopping wet
I'm sure that tastes good, but it's NOT an Italian Beef. Certainly NOT Chicago Italian Beef.
I crave this for days every time I see it!!
" I'm not your buddy, pal "
Tell that guy that gravy is not AU JUS. Au JUS means at juice in French so that means when you put the item at the juice or in the juice (gravy, sauce). So the correct thing that he should have said is “We have our JUICE (Jus) and when we put the sandwich in it we now have a sandwich AU JUS.
This is what hell is like. He can't even dunk it in the broth.
This guy is so freaking annoying.
