🍽️🥩🥪 Matthew Menentowski's PayPal donation led to my first time eating CREAMED CHIPPED BEEF from Stouffer's. Have you guys ever had this on toast?! Be like Matthew and donate on Venmo or CashApp (@SeanEly) or send on PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/seanely1) 🥪🥩🍽️
Guy fiery likes chipped beef
My dad called this "Air Force food" growing up.
Would love to have you tell us the sodium content. Do you still have the box? Oh! I just saw you show the nutrition facts. Thanks for that.
That is my favorite thing Stouffers makes! I think you helped me decide my lunch for today 😋
My god, that is a horrible name for that dish. Haha. It reminds me of sausage gravy over biscuits. Although as you poured it out it did not look great, lol.
It’s really similar looking to Trader Joe’s Bread Cheese
Can you imagine the buzz you get from coffee and a little gasoline? Boys be BUZZINGGGGGGGGGG!
Hey I got a random question for you my dude. Do you have any advice for anybody moving to a completely different state without anybody that they know. What are the things that you should be able to do or know. Another fantastic video from you SOS is a staple man you should make it from scratch it's 10 times better. But I'm really glad that you keep putting out super great content for the rest of us. Keep up the great work my dude I wish I had the money to donate right now
That’d be better with an egg
We grew up on this! We called it Chipped Beef on Toast as well as shit on a shingle. I still make it from time to time. Homemade would be way better then Stouffers.
by 3pm it's the devils gravy… eat it with hot sauce when I do
Grew up eating the homemade version of that stuff. My dad was in the military so I guess it makes sense. In an attempt to make it "healthy" he would add green peas to it.
I'm here from watching his very old what did the fox say video and wow his content has really changed
Wait… you've never had Stouffer's version before…. or you've never had chipped beef on toast … at ALL???? Huh. Made from scratch, it's a favorite comfort food here at my house. Also, I think it's so adorable you salted the water.
It's always good!
Steak ums were used by suburpia to make cheese steaks and they were dam good facts!!
Sean its official u will eat anything no way cory would eat that
My Mom would make this from scratch using Carl Buddig beef lunchmeat and we would put it on baked potatoes instead of toast. I effing loved it lol!
I mean, it's basically the same thing as biscuits and sausage gravy, just with toast and sliced beef? Never had it but it makes sense to me.
The other cheap way is getting the budding brand corn beef, and make your own white gravy.
The dumb n dumber movie so iconic my very first favorite comedy growing up lol
Yes. Scratch made by my Mom. Lots of times. Was a favorite.
I’ve never had SOS. Sounds way too salty for ny taste buds. Glad you enjoyed it! ❤️❤️
As bad as it looks and for the name it has, it's actually really good!
Sean have you ever had Stouffers Stuffed Peppers?
I love Stouffers creamed chipped beef! I’ve eaten it a ton of times it’s delicious.
I love chipped beef on toast and I avoided because I don't see the point of eating a frozen meal that requires your own ingredients. Thanks for confirming my assumption.
I’ve never even HEARD or creamed chipped beef
I never had the stouffer’s version. But my grandparents would make the homemade version of it. This was one of their staples that I grew up on.
Never had chipped beef but it looks like here in the south Sausage gravy for Biscuits and gravy and so it that aspect ive had it plenty of times. Biscuits and gravy is a southern classic here.
The new name:
Open faced beef carpaccio simmered in a cream reduction
I know Creamed Chipped Beef is an "American staple", so to speak, but it just looks and seems to me like one of those really bland things that would be a delicacy in the UK, even though I know anyone outside of America is apalled at the thought of white gravy. They love putting things on toast that don't belong on toast.
No, haven’t had it. Only time I had bechemel sauce was on Greek Lasagna (Pastitsio). Looks a bit like a lighter version of the sausage gravy I make. I’d probably put that chipped beef and sauce over egg noodles.
You’ve really never had this? I thought you were a midwesterner. We grew up on it but we didn’t have the privileged upbringing that you did (as Corey would say)
Never had it but my great gam loved it always wondered but never pulled that trigger
My grandmother used to make a homemade creamed chip beef that was really delicious.
