I see ALDI has put a row of grocery items along the front of the shelves to make them look fuller. Someone commented (don't know where–or I read about it) that grocery stores do this so the store has the illusion that it's fully stocked.

Hi! Love this video! We finally joined Costco since one just opened on our way to church so we pass it twice or more each week, plus a different location is easy to go to on other days on the way to our daughters' school. All about location and savings on gasoline for us.

The last time we purchased heavy whipping cream in the same size container here in Oklahoma it ran $7+ for the large container. You are so lucky getting it for $3+. I love making home made alfredo sauce but cant afford those kind of prices for one ingredient

Your Aldi is much bigger than mine and where the heck is everyone??? Wow! There’s always a line or two going down the isle and often traffic lights are needed🤪. Girl chocolate cream cherries have always been $1😱 I love them-I’ll eat the whole box in 1 day😬 Lucky only 1 of 5 kids like them🤪 Yum I’ll have to get some of that fish next trip! I’ve never seen those soups-I’ll look for those too! I’ve been wondering about that chili-yes even us gardening & homemade & canning moms need to whip up chili dogs sometimes🤪
I keep the 1/2 & 1/2 and heavy whipping in fridge at all times-best price around-don’t have Costco anywhere near me.

Patara, the British fish & chips are really good. I grew up in New England and we ate our fish & chips the British way, with Malt Vinegar sprinkled on the chips instead of ketchup or anything like that. (HAS to be malt though – no other kind of vinegar works)

I have an ALDI's near me now …. will have to do a good recon on them. Was in there with my brother, but it was a quick in&out. I did like a lot of what I saw at the time. Take care.

Alot of people burn candles for the pleasant smells…I love the smell of cinnamon so I put a cinnamon stick or 2 and simmer on the stove enough to get them going then reduce to the lowest setting or put on the keep warm eye👍🏻
    Wish we had ALDI😣

I love aldi. You better believe I picked up the $1.99 butter. The asian sesame dressing is really good and my aldi doesn't always have it so I picked up 2 bottles of it this last time.

Sounds like you and I were both in Aldi's at the same time, just different states – east Texas. There a few more people there but no crowds. I wanted to stock up on their non gluten dressing. This year they had it, but not that much left. I grabbed 10 boxes. Love to put extra onions, meat, mushrooms, whatever in the water while I'm waiting for it to boil and then put the dressing mix in. Fast, easy and can hit most of the food groups in one pot!

I caught a really good deal on turkey's and got them for 29 cents a pound. I did a "science experiment" over the weekend with the two frozen turkeys. I cooked them in my All American pressure canner. They were not "pretty", but they were so tender and fell off the bone. Just like cooking in a crockpot except it only took about 90 minutes. I then deboned them and did bone broth in the crockpot. I ended up with 9-24oz cans of turkey in broth (for soups), 5 pints of turkey in water and a little salt (for turkey salad) and 11 pints of broth. I am so glad that y'all are doing so much better. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless!!

Just wondering, when you make your chili what beans do you use, the reason I am asking is that I fixed some up with kidney beans and it was the first time I used them as I usually use pinto beans but I found the kidneys beans were not nearly as tender as pinto beans . I soaked the kidney beans over night even. Please give me your opinion Patara.

Store brand heavy cream here is $4.98. Your prices are excellent (comparatively) but I understand that they are relative to everything else. My eyes bugged out when I saw how cheap the butter was! 🤣 Nice haul! 👍🏼 Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
