it DOES have a KFC-like coating, but its very oily, and has a weird aftertaste that i can only describe as "factory". Im disappointed because they're so close to getting it right.

I tried it, it was nice found a bit spicy. Like that it’s salty. Most fried chicken except for KFC is not salty enough.

Can tell something won't taste like KFC just by the fact MSG isn't high in the ingredient list, and in this case not there at all. Granted yeast extract has some umami flavour but it's different than good o'l straight msg. If you check ingredient lists for kfc you will notice the primary ingredient in the herbs and spices is MSG.
Tastes good but gives you the runs.

I tried this and I think it is because I don't eat takeaways (but still watch these lol) and avoid toxic seed oils like the plague… but these made me feel really nauseous afterwards and made me feel drained and awful. I personally would rather cook my own chicken without all the crap added

Not KFC in taste…some interesting aftertaste, happening on some pieces extremely crunchy .. Cook's great in the air fryer. Would give it 8.5 out of 10 but gonna knock off a few points for that weird aftertaste thing on some pieces.. it gets a 6 .5 out of 10 .. happy crunching 👍

lol, i love the rollo taste test part. in my experience dogs will pretty much eat anything including vomit, so not entirely sure how much weight we should put on the ol rollo taste test meter lol.

You should try the Tegal Nashville tenders Greg! In lockdown we would make home made zinger burgers with sesame seed burger buns, iceberg lettuce, red onion, eta mayonnaise and a couple of Nashville tenders topped with cheap plastic cheese 🍔
You need to get them in the fillet burger packet, you can make way better chicken burgers with them than KFC's. Only when they're on special though, not worth it full price.

Greggo you've got to try Deep South Chicken in Upper Coomera/Oxenford. A true authentic southern chicken with the most juicy, soft chicken inside a crispy, crunchy coating. It leaves KFC and whatever this is, in the mud.

These are pretty good for frozen range. I personally like the Nashville ones better. Could easily make a lazy mid week out of these…🍗 🍟 🥗

Coles & Aldi have their own branded Southern Fried Chicken. It's a bit cheaper and you'll get more and taste really nice !✌
