I forgot to say that I replaced the oil with 4 TBL applesauce. I also wanted to know if you thought maple syrup could replace the granulated sugar and brown sugar & the purpose of the yogurt, as I don't usually have it on hand as I'm too lazy to make it & hate paying the high price. Thanks in advance for your response.

I just made the cake (yes it's 2:22 am where I am). It is delicious! The recipe on the blog did not include the vanilla so I guessed 1 teaspoon, it worked. I cooked it for 30 minutes and it was a bit fudgy. I can't imagine it being even more fudgy, that wouldn't work for me. 30 min was perfect! Couldn't taste the coconut taste at all.

I made this as my first pressure cooker cake, and it was really good! That ganache was incredible and there was plenty extra for dipping lol. My cake came out pretty heavy, almost like a brownie after 27 minutes and natural pressure release. I did forget to add the boiling water. I'll probably be making this again, the coffee idea below sounds awesome!

Wow, I am so amazed by all the Instant Pot can do! I would never have thought to make cake in a pressure cooker, but what a genius idea! This chocolate cake looks fudgy and delicious and it will definitely be the first recipe I try when I finally get my cooker in the mail! I can't wait!!

Adding a little bit of brewed coffee to chocolate cakes really enriches the cocoa flavor. Coconut milk is the best dairy alternative I have used for baking cakes. Yum😋

Excellent simple recipe using instant pot. Chocolate ganache using only 2 ingredients ( chocolate & coconut milk ) looks very good. Rest of the recipe is also easy to follow. Electric pressure cooker makes task very simple, close the pot & walk away for 45 to 50 minutes. Good job, Nisha.

Yay 🙂 I don’t even have an instant pot, but I just love your videos. Also, just checked your Instagram. You went to Harvard Law, woah! You are so amazing ☺️
