Just found this today & I haven't tried the Chili Powder…yet!!! I've always used the Apple Juice, liquid smoke, & then I add 1/4 cup of vinegar & they always come out fall off the bone delicious. I was out of Apple Juice one day & couldn't get to the store; so I cooked them in water & they came out tough. I'm giving the Apple Juice credit for tenderizing the meat!!!
I've also always browned them in my Hot Air Fryer; but I think I'm going to pull out my old torch out of the garage & see how I like that. THANKS for the additional ideas!!!
