I’ve always made the fideo sopa on the stove for my kids but decided to try the IP version since I got one recently. My kids and I loved it so much! I didn’t have thawed chicken and ended up cooking the chicken separately on manual but lowered the cook time from 8 to 6 minutes and it was perfect, thank you!

Looks good and the amount of time you cooked it was enough, but you cooked it on high pressure for zero minutes. Going by your intended settings: 8 minutes on high pressure, it would have been overcooked. While you were standing there waiting it was only coming up to pressure. When the 8 minutes showed up, it still had 8 minutes of high pressure cooking to go… it counts down to zero. The keep warm setting was already set to turn on the moment the cooking finished and it counts up… so you know how long it has been keeping warm. I love your recipes and have tried quite a few. I hope this helps you for future recipes.

Wow that was fast!! Keep the Insta Pot recipes coming. I’ve used many of your recipes. In fact I made your walnut cookies for Christmas and your meatball recipe for New Year’s Eve appetizer. My family loved them!

I tried this soup today. Cooked perfectly. (Never knew about the toasting of the vermicelli prior to making the soup). Good tip, thanks! However after having eaten it, I noticed there is a marked difference between a soup made with and without the bones of the desired "meat/poultry". It seem to need the giblets that include the liver that also adds to the flavor.

OMG please do arroz con leche and arroz con pollo next in the IP. My mouth is watering. Gracias in advance. I bought my IP 2 yrs ago on Black Friday at Kohls and got savings on top of savings. As a Single Mom this has been a game changer, less dishes and less time in the kitchen.

i made your other version of fideo con pollo, the regular version, and i enjoyed the whole cooking process, & in my opinion the regular cooking produces more flavor, but in a pinch, the instant pot is a good alternative. my husband loved both versions

Hi Angelica! This recipe looks delicious! Can you do a menudo in the Instant Pot please? I am curious to know how it would come out since it takes a while to cook the traditional way. Thank you!

I made spaghetti once in my instant pot and the noodles were horrible. bloated just like you mentioned!! It was the texture of spaghettios/chef boyardee canned texture. 🙁

Will definitely save this video for some chicken fideo soon!!

Very well done video !! At the end, I always tell people to make sure the metal pin has dropped before opening the lid, even though the steam has stopped. I enjoyed the recipe tutorial very much and will try it very soon ! Looks and sounds so delicious ! Gotta love the InstantPot ♥️
