Meat loaf is something I have been looking forward to trying in the Instant Pot. It will take a bit of timing trial and error, but this first attempt was delicious, even …
Warren, anytime you try something new, its a success, not trying is a failure
,she just has more knowledge on the cooking time for her next one 🙂
I'm not sure how you could call that a success?? It was raw in middle and wasn't browned. I think your favorite friend watching you could get a nice doggy treat.
I would suggest you use the saute, feature to brown on both sides before you cook it. It will look better and taste better.
Bon Appetite!
Well I hope it taste good lol
lol I love the puppy backseat comments
You can't even taste the soy sauce.
It will look better if you brush it with soy sauce before cooking.
Nice video thatnks for posting
Your dogs are sweet! If you use a trivet and place the meat in it, add 2 ups of water and steam it, I think it should be completely done by 15 minutes. You can check your Instant Pot recipe booklet for the time period, or go to the instant pot website. I like the music?
Once you saw it wasn't done through, maybe slice it, empty the liquid and brown the semi-raw slices on the sauté setting?
Great work! 🙂 Cecilia xo
Next time try using the Saute setting and brown or char the meatloaf on the outside first before pressure cooking, also use the rack so the meatloaf isn't directly in the water and I think you will be much more pleased with the results.
The concept is interesting but the picture of the final product is a bit dim. Gray meat. Perhaps it needs a final touch-up under the broiler with a topping of ketchup, perhaps?
Sharons Florida …. thank you for your comments on my videos.
