Imstant pot actually takes longer to cook rice and eat it than on the stove because if the natural release that you gotta do for 10 mins, what a waste of time. I cook it on the stove and it's done within 11-12 mins max and it's always perfect for me.
Thank you!
thanks for the video my mom gave me one years ago now iam outta food and my sons mom not here and stores are not open iam try to cook some rice i have.
In fact, Iโm kind of young but this kind of helped
I love this lady!! Sheโs funny and doesnโt do anything too fast so I can keep up while trying to cook at the same time and she made me smile and laugh so it wasnโt too serious. Loved it!
Yโall are funny ๐๐๐
Been wanting to make stir fried and other dishes To add on top of a rice. I especially wanted it to make plain rice for my sushi ๐ฃ. One cup is not enough for my sushi now I can make 2. Also leftover white rice is best for stir fried.
First time using my instapot and I wanted to cook rice!!!! I found your video first. Thank you for making my first time not so scary !!!
can someone explain to me natural release & all that im so confused ๐ซ
Putting some of oil made it very good
This is a awesome video. Love the sound effects. Thank you
When she laughed and said, โBoom!!โ ๐คฃ๐คฃ
For me it comes out perfect if I let the rice soak for 16 minutes before cooking it in the rice cooker. I use equal amount of water.
PSS: AMY YOU'RE THE BEST!!!
Amy: OMG! Perfectly cooked rice! Iโm glad I decided to take your advice on rice! I previously had a yellow rice recipe similar to yours and my instant pot shut down with a burn code. And burnt my pot bad. BUT decided to listen to you and my rice came out with absolutely no sticking to the bottom! So delicious I couldnโt stop tasting it… Because I made it for fried rice recipe which I will conclude tomorrow. Thanks for all you do on YouTube!
I released mine as soon as it beeped. Oops lol.
Thanks for your help. A great cook you are…
love ur style
rice is literally easier then a bowl of cereal:
boil water
put rice(washed if you want, personally i've never noticed any difference washed or not, so i don't bother) in boiling water
turn off stove and move the pot off of the burner
wait like, 5 or so minutes as the rice absorbs the water
enjoy delicious perfect rice
if you manage to mess that up, you got issues
Chicken noises in the end had me ๐
This was very helpful and informative
I don't know but rice takes 12 minutes to cook and this video was 12 minutes. I don't believe in coincidences. ๐
im gonna brave rice …ive always avoided as scared ha ha …yet i can cook so silly right …thanks oh n new sub …๐
Should also soak your rice overnight. It helps remove a lot of the arsenic in rice. Also using basmati white rice is better than most rice and dont use brown
I'm watching Instapot videos to see if it is something I need, and so far. . . the stove top method works.
Thank you for taking the time to show how to make fluffy rice in the Instant Pot. I just bought one yesterday and haven't used it yet, but I'll definitely try to make the rice, just like you did.
Rice and gravy or butter ๐ง yummy ๐
WHAT CAMERA DID YOU USE? SO CLEAR! ๐
Rice on the ceiling means you'll need extra long chop sticks to serve
8:00 BOOM too funny.
I cook rice perfectly on the stove top most of the time. But I'd rather use this pot because I'm lazy and want to just set it and leave it. Thanks for the upload
Ok, I have made my first batch. 2 cups of rice, 2 cups of water. Success! It came out the way I was hoping for.
Like you have said, experiment. I guess I didn't wash my rice out thoroughly as it was sticking to the bottom of the pot. Which is ok, it was easy to clean up.
I am new to cooking in general and this video is helping me out! Thank you AMY and thank you Camera guy!
That rice is sticky and I love it that way!
I just came across this video today and loved it. I'll definitely be trying my rice this way. I just got an instant pot for Christmas. The only thing I've done in it is make pumpkin puree for a pumpkin pie. I can't wait to do rice and other stuff as well.
