Imstant pot actually takes longer to cook rice and eat it than on the stove because if the natural release that you gotta do for 10 mins, what a waste of time. I cook it on the stove and it's done within 11-12 mins max and it's always perfect for me.

I love this lady!! Sheโ€™s funny and doesnโ€™t do anything too fast so I can keep up while trying to cook at the same time and she made me smile and laugh so it wasnโ€™t too serious. Loved it!

Been wanting to make stir fried and other dishes To add on top of a rice. I especially wanted it to make plain rice for my sushi ๐Ÿฃ. One cup is not enough for my sushi now I can make 2. Also leftover white rice is best for stir fried.

Amy: OMG! Perfectly cooked rice! Iโ€™m glad I decided to take your advice on rice! I previously had a yellow rice recipe similar to yours and my instant pot shut down with a burn code. And burnt my pot bad. BUT decided to listen to you and my rice came out with absolutely no sticking to the bottom! So delicious I couldnโ€™t stop tasting it… Because I made it for fried rice recipe which I will conclude tomorrow. Thanks for all you do on YouTube!

rice is literally easier then a bowl of cereal:

    boil water

put rice(washed if you want, personally i've never noticed any difference washed or not, so i don't bother) in boiling water

turn off stove and move the pot off of the burner

wait like, 5 or so minutes as the rice absorbs the water

    enjoy delicious perfect rice

if you manage to mess that up, you got issues

Thank you for taking the time to show how to make fluffy rice in the Instant Pot. I just bought one yesterday and haven't used it yet, but I'll definitely try to make the rice, just like you did.

I cook rice perfectly on the stove top most of the time. But I'd rather use this pot because I'm lazy and want to just set it and leave it. Thanks for the upload

Ok, I have made my first batch. 2 cups of rice, 2 cups of water. Success! It came out the way I was hoping for.
Like you have said, experiment. I guess I didn't wash my rice out thoroughly as it was sticking to the bottom of the pot. Which is ok, it was easy to clean up.

I am new to cooking in general and this video is helping me out! Thank you AMY and thank you Camera guy!

I just came across this video today and loved it. I'll definitely be trying my rice this way. I just got an instant pot for Christmas. The only thing I've done in it is make pumpkin puree for a pumpkin pie. I can't wait to do rice and other stuff as well.
