It would be nice if you will put time and programm to your recipes for me is difficult to understand .
I like how you cook everything in one go
I will be trying this tomorrow night, my husband is worried about the taste of the carnation milk, but I can just add all whole milk, the addition of eggs is an excellent idea, and if I do this in my Ninja foodie I can crisp a crumb topping instead of melted cheese if I choose. Thank-you Baby-Doll!
Are you in Tenn John?
Making that today! Looks awesome!
Well hello Baby Doll…. I have changed my recipe to add broth to it… Thank you.
What a gorgeous wife! Another jewel of a recipe!
I can't wait to try this recipe, the eggs were a surprise !
You have a lovely wife, may the Lord bless the both of you !
Looks amazing! Going to try soon- thank you for sharing!
Looks delish. Can’t wait to try.
She said to save one cup of cheese for the top. Watching water that a lot of that bag is more than 8 oz. I believe I can double this recipe in an 8-quart. Mac and cheese freezes beautifully. 🙂
For pressure cooking things like pasta and beans a couple teaspoons of oil on top of the water will stop it from spitting water and white stuff. It won't cook into the pasta and it won't coat the pasta so it won't change the recipe. Things like beans and pasta boil more rapidly and that's when you get the junk coming out of the release valve. That little bit of oil on top will float on top of the water and prevent that from happening 99.9% of the time. 🙂
People scream for me to make my macaroni and cheese and I think it's because of his secret ingredient that isn't some Secret just as easy as you. on the fine side of a box grater I grate about a quarter of an onion a smallish onion. It nearly liquefies it and gives a lot of liquid I scrape it out from the inside and add it to my Mac and Cheese. Everybody always says there's something different about it but they're not sure what. 🙂 I like cavatappi because it's like two elbows situated away from each other and on top of each other. I love macaroni and cheese so much that I will even eat bad macaroni and cheese and I don't mean spoiled I just mean not so good macaroni and cheese!
That’s some good looking macaroni and cheese! Thanks for a great video!
John–your wife is lovely..thanks for the recipe..looks tasty, as always..:)
Husband did an awesome job👍

ok. not what we have been using.
The ip is off.
I COULD JUST EAT THE WHOLE POT GOOD LORD!😋 😋 😋 😋 😋
Love this couple
PLEASE stop hitting the sides of the pans. You have many viewers that doing something like that makes us cringe
John- Happy to see your wife stepping into the limelight of your YouTube world. Made her Mac ‘n Cheese recipe in my Foodi and it was a big hit!
I actually made two versions of it. Followed the steps per your video in one version, and in the other, I added an ingredient that I usually add in my m&c recipes, and that is a 5oz container of BOURSIN CHEESE. Boursin adds an extra level of both flavor & creaminess. As I said, BOTH the original version and the Boursin version were a big hit!
Simple ingredients that produce great results! You can’t ask for much more than that! Hope to see more of your wife’s recipes on your channel. Next challenge you have to work on is getting your kids on camera-LOL
If you use the Ninja, you can brown the cheese on top with the crisper function. Your Mac N Cheese looks delicious, not sure I want to make a mess with the semi quick release, but I'm sure I can find a method with a 5 to 10 min natural release followed by a quick release.
Nice to meet your wife & I like her recipe. I am glad to see I am not the only one you forgot how to use the IP…
Debby
Looks good – where is the printed version of the recipe? If there is no prointed – you should tell viewers in advance to make there notes as it goes along. Printed recipe is best….
Where can I find yur recipes? Other than watching videos again and writing notes? I am not lazy; I am just conservative with my energy. LOL
Great video, John. We got the Instant Pot 2 weeks ago. We will definitely be making Kathy’s Mac-n-Cheese!
Hey there! I'm so glad to finally meet your wife. I am so glad to see her! You all sure know how to cook up some delicious food. I am going to try this in the FOODI. I love your channel and look forward to watching your videos. I just know you are making something great each time!! Thank u so much! Keep these great recipes coming!
Oh yeah, that looks great. I am going to try your method for dinner next Sunday. I never thought of using the slow cooker function to finish it off.
Looks so good ! Liked seeing your wife too!
Awesome… I have to try it this way. I've always been a little nervous about doing mac and cheese in the IP. I do pasta all the time in my 3qt… and I have the same issues as you did with the liquid. Can I ask where you got the strainer. I've never seen one like that. I'd love to see more of your "Baby Doll" working with you.
Loved the video and meeting your adorable wife Babydoll.

Great looking dish guys can’t wait to try it. John get yourself a ceramic insert pot for that instant pot and you won’t need to spray it anymore and clean up is just as easy as the Foodi, again great job and keep filming.
Looks good! The paprika sounds interesting. Can't wait to try this in the Foodi and AC'ing it for a few minutes to toast the top. 🙂 Thanks for the video!
I want to try that for Monday night dinner with my grandson.
Looks delicious! I will definitely try this!

Good ole Mac and Cheese!
Macaroni and cheese is no doubt a comfort food, and there are many ways and versions of it, it’s always nice to know how someone else does it, skip that box version lol, thank you Baby Doll for sharing your recipe, thank you John for giving us an instant pot version
