I will be trying this tomorrow night, my husband is worried about the taste of the carnation milk, but I can just add all whole milk, the addition of eggs is an excellent idea, and if I do this in my Ninja foodie I can crisp a crumb topping instead of melted cheese if I choose. Thank-you Baby-Doll!

She said to save one cup of cheese for the top. Watching water that a lot of that bag is more than 8 oz. I believe I can double this recipe in an 8-quart. Mac and cheese freezes beautifully. 🙂

For pressure cooking things like pasta and beans a couple teaspoons of oil on top of the water will stop it from spitting water and white stuff. It won't cook into the pasta and it won't coat the pasta so it won't change the recipe. Things like beans and pasta boil more rapidly and that's when you get the junk coming out of the release valve. That little bit of oil on top will float on top of the water and prevent that from happening 99.9% of the time. 🙂

People scream for me to make my macaroni and cheese and I think it's because of his secret ingredient that isn't some Secret just as easy as you. on the fine side of a box grater I grate about a quarter of an onion a smallish onion. It nearly liquefies it and gives a lot of liquid I scrape it out from the inside and add it to my Mac and Cheese. Everybody always says there's something different about it but they're not sure what. 🙂 I like cavatappi because it's like two elbows situated away from each other and on top of each other. I love macaroni and cheese so much that I will even eat bad macaroni and cheese and I don't mean spoiled I just mean not so good macaroni and cheese!

John- Happy to see your wife stepping into the limelight of your YouTube world. Made her Mac ‘n Cheese recipe in my Foodi and it was a big hit!
I actually made two versions of it. Followed the steps per your video in one version, and in the other, I added an ingredient that I usually add in my m&c recipes, and that is a 5oz container of BOURSIN CHEESE. Boursin adds an extra level of both flavor & creaminess. As I said, BOTH the original version and the Boursin version were a big hit!
Simple ingredients that produce great results! You can’t ask for much more than that! Hope to see more of your wife’s recipes on your channel. Next challenge you have to work on is getting your kids on camera-LOL

If you use the Ninja, you can brown the cheese on top with the crisper function. Your Mac N Cheese looks delicious, not sure I want to make a mess with the semi quick release, but I'm sure I can find a method with a 5 to 10 min natural release followed by a quick release.

Looks good – where is the printed version of the recipe? If there is no prointed – you should tell viewers in advance to make there notes as it goes along. Printed recipe is best….

Awesome… I have to try it this way. I've always been a little nervous about doing mac and cheese in the IP. I do pasta all the time in my 3qt… and I have the same issues as you did with the liquid. Can I ask where you got the strainer. I've never seen one like that. I'd love to see more of your "Baby Doll" working with you.
