When I was young, my mom used a pressure cooker. She stressed how dangerous it was. When I became an adult I was so afraid to use one! I was one of those that was scared to use the Instapot. I bought one shortly after they arrived on the scene. I use it about 2-3 times per week. I absolutely love making bone broth in my Instapot! Thanks for the recipe ideas. I get so bored with meal planning!

We use our Instant Pots (yes we have 2 as well) not quite as much as our air fryer (which we use at least once a day) but we use it a lot. BTW if using a tomato based product, we found it best to add it last… keeping it away from the bottom of the pot.

I love my Instant Pot. My daughter got me one about 5 years ago. I use it about once a week. I made Spaghetti and Meatballs this week. My husband's favorite recipe is ribs in the Instant Pot. He said they are delicious and fall off the bone.

I've used pressure cookers for 25 years; long before the Instant Pot brand hit the market. In addition to the Instant Pot, I still have the Cuisinart 6qt, which was my first electric "instant" pressure cooker, and I also have an electric Bistro 12qt one for pork butts, turkeys, ribs, baked potatoes for a crowd, and extra large volume soups. Sometimes I'll use two at a time- one for the meal and another for rice, beans or veggie side. I love my pressure cookers SO much! They cut cooking time by at least half, tenderize the toughest meats, and infuse flavor into meat like nothing else. There are horror stories of older manual pressure cookers exploding, which is why my mother and grandmother refused to use them, but today's electric ones are totally safe. The lids are designed so that you literally CANNOT physically open the lid while there is still pressure inside. I encourage everyone to try it. You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. ❤
