back in the early 2000's, they used to serve this in my daughters' grade school, everybody looked forward to it, it was fun and delicious at the same time. Good memories. Also, I make it myself now, what I do is buy the snack size bags of Fritos in bulk (Costco, Sam's, etc.) and make a large pot of chili, then break the chili down into smaller bowls and freeze them. Anytime I want a quick comfort food snack, I just nuke the chili, pop a bag, and voila! Fast, cheap and easy, what more could you ask for?

Tried this tonight to take to a 4th of July party. A couple of little spice changes (store didn't have Italian seasoning). Also, I used pinto beans; just like them better. But absolutely delicious. Thanks, this is my third recipe I've done off of Pressure Luck.

I have to say I love these videos of yours. All the food that you have made are just good home cooking. Frito pie as a video what a great way to show a simple trick.

We call these “Walking Taco’s”. We cut the bag horizontally to make them easier to eat. We used to sell these at my son’s Peewee Football games and they were the top sellers at the concession stand. Topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream.

Here its called a Frito Boat. But we cut the bag across the side so it's easier to get to. Also we add toss salad and Salsa along with rest of the toppings you put. I'm not saying yours is not right, I'm just saying what it's called over here where I live. Great recipe as always! I honestly thought you were going to make a pie. 😆
