One of my faves!! I love this classic Chicken and Dumplings recipe, but lots of you have "special" ingredients in yours. What do you like to add to make it special!
It would be great if you could just tell us how much of the ingredients you are using as you go. Just makes it easier as we follow along, instead of having to go to your site.
I tried this, I deglazed the bottom,, nothing was sticking, but it wouldn't come up to temp, kept saying "burn" and resetting itself and kept saying "burn"
My insta pot is the duo evo plus. So when I press the pressure cook option there are different options to choose from. Should I do the custom setting? If so should it be on high or low heat? I assume high? Mine also goes into a keep warm setting and I’m not sure if I’m suppose to let it go through that process after the cooking timer is done?
Classic southern chicken and dumplins do not have any vegetables in it. You have made chicken pot pie or chicken casserole. Also, in our chicken and dumplins, the dumplins are not steamed. They are stewed.
So… if I’m going to do all of that work, why wouldn’t I just use the oven? Still trying to understand the “why” to an instant pot. Same amount of work, not as much flavor, and specific recipes required makes it sound like more of a challenge

That's NOT chicken and dumplings! That's chicken, dumplings, onions, carrots and whatever other crap you put in there. DISGUSTING!
This is great. One suggestion – consider eliminating the music when you’re speaking. It’s so distracting at times.
