This is NOT long enough cooking time for dry beans to be tender! I followed this recipe and recooked them 4 more times at 15 minutes each time and the beans were not tender as they should be. Finally, threw them in the trash because I don't like chewy beans.
I'm trying this right now. I'm also going to add fried bacon. Thank you for the easy recipe.
