We absolutely LOOOOOVE our Instant Pot.>>>ur2.pl/1046 We got it on Prime day and have used it every day since. Like most people, we fell into a rut of making the same meals over and over. The Instant Pot has opened up a whole new world for us. We are still discovering new recipes and having a lot of fun. If you are considering one of these, don't hesitate. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I am a very "seasoned" cook (no pun intended 😂) but this Instant Pot thing intimidates the heck out of me. I think I'll stick to my cast iron and/or regular crock pot. Your dinner looked great, though! ❤️

I cooked frozen solid chicken in my Instant Pot for the first time last week, super moist and virtually no prep required. It only took about 20 minutes total. There are tons of YouTube videos showing you how to do it 😊

Just started watching you videos and I already love them! Such a great family. Watching your Sunday setups have inspired me to shake up my routine. Have you considered doing a “night time routine” vid? I’d love to see it if you do. Keep the great vids coming! 😁

Just found your vlog! I don't have kids yet…and I found your vlog/channel by looking for investing 101 information. 🙂 We're currently int he getting out of debt phase…but I'm trying to at least LEARN about what it all means first! As for your instant pot. Oh man that about gave me a heart attack! lol. 🙂 I just bought one myself, but have used a pressure canner for actual canning…anyways I made a lemon butter chicken yesterday and it was soooo good! excited to watch more of your channel!

I have the instant pot. Please read the instructions, very important to turn it off before releasing pressure. Some recipes are natural release and some are quick release. it does take time to learn. Btw, you can make rice in it too. Just don't make a small quantity. Haha!

Emeril has a brisket that's made in the pressure cooker. Best. Brisket. Ever. Should be able to Google it. He also has some other good recipes for the pressure cooker. Also Pinterest has tons of recipes.

I never realized you were in Georgia too! It's supposed to ice/snow again overnight this Tuesday, so I betting schools will cancel Wednesday. Love watching these videos while I meal plan or clean.

After you brown the chicken on the sauté button, take it out and put it on a plate, Cancel sauté and put the rack in the pot add one cup of water, then lay the chicken on the rack ,,,,always add at “least” one cup water (or liquid) this makes the steam. Put the cover on make sure the sealing dial in in position. Cook on manual high pressure for about 10 minutes. Release pressure… this does take a few minutes….open cover….done!

I use my normal recipes in the instant pot all the time. I just make sure that there’s at least a half a cup of liquid or sauce. Also with meat, let it naturally depressurize. It takes about 10 mins. Otherwise you can dry out your meat. I cook my chicken frozen all the time. Just add 3 mins to the time if it’s frozen. Enjoy your instant pot!
