Bill, I am surprised you are not wearing a hat, like the one Gary is wearing to cover his neck. My husband wears the this type hat, because he has had cancer removed from his skin., he always wear spray
sun block on his skin. Be careful.☀️🌝

Bruce is gaining an education of trade skills that will be a blessing to himself, family, and many others. Our church family is currently coming together to help a young family through renovations. Our 11-17 yr olds are on site learning all kinds of skills. What a blessing you are to each other. I also believe the family that will eventually purchase your renovated home, will have such great value in a home CORRECTLY repaired and renovated. Excellent job!

Just can't wait to see the end results because it will be gorgeous by the time you all are done with it. Fantastic property, and the yard is simply beautiful and it reminds me of the yard the house I grew up in had. What a find! Cheers! 😀

it's comming along pretty well. I feel bad you had extra work you haven't expected but it sure looks nice now. the 3 of you work well together! What I'd like to know is the ballpark figure you've spent in total on the renovation materials. I know there are things like the new Hvac system I actually need one of those myself so with installation how much was that? Before I start doing anything I want to know how much I should expect to pay minus you guys labor. I'll figure the labor in later but for now once your all done paying for everything you need, can I get that ballpark figure of the total cost of materials, and including nails, screws, caulking and all the little stuff as well. thanks so much in advance. I don't need an exact number but a ballpark figure will help me greatly.

Decks can add value to the house. A breakfast room bump out with side doors on either side to a deck is a plan for my house. I'm interested how you're building your deck. I think It's going to be beautiful.

Seeing this is really beneficial as well as entertaining. I love to learn the tricks. We have done this to our home but just like to compare how the pro's do it and we did it like you did so glad we were correct in doing so. Thank you for the affirmation of how to do it right. That home is really going to be nice. I love it and can't wait to see more………love your channel and so enjoy watching these remodels and builds.
Blessings and I hope the weather is good there and continues to be as you do this work.

what are you going to do with the fireplace (brick) that is kinda old and dingy looking and with so many new kinds of brick at the home improvement stores, a new brick would look so updated! I love watching your home improvement videos and with your grandson and son!

I admire you both for taking on this job.
It’s more work than a lot of people realize!
I don’t think I’d be able to even muster the mental fortitude to tackle flipping homes!🥵

You have the same hammer as my husband’s old hammer from the 1960’s. (Husband passed 12 years ago).
I misplaced it. I can’t find it. I still have his favorite tool…his one foot silver crowbar. He loved his crowbar. I love it as well. Easy to hold. It’s round in the grip area. Not a flat crowbar.
Seeing your hammer brought back good memories.
    Keep up the good work!

Look at it this way, getting sucked back into this job will keep you young. My husband is older than you, and was still working until Memorial Day weekend. We are probably both going to have to get jobs soon. We are farming in our backyard and a bunch of other things as well. It makes you have to get up and keep moving. You may not be able to work as long or as hard as you did at 20, but continuing to move makes it possible to continue to move. I can remember, when I was a kid, 60 and 70 year old men who could climb to the top of the tobacco barn faster than some of the young ones.

That door is going to be so much nicer. With a sliding door, you can have one side open for air. With a French door, you can open both sides. If you have a screen porch, you can have a wonderful breeze going through the house.
