Good luck for your job interviews Claire.
Great meal plan.
For your egg bites, add a little water 1/4 cup or milk to thin out the eggs
Use sausage for stir fry
Use every bit of the peppers' tops & bottoms. Also, remove the white pit stuff
Hot cereal is better, so many options: oatmeal, cream of wheat, cream of rice or cream cornmeal.
Baked oatmeal with fresh fruit. Breakfast burritos. Baked French toast with cinnamon. My grand kids even like fried rice with eggs and veggies. All can be made ahead and frozen. I also make pumpkin apple bran muffins and eggs of choice. I make granola with dried fruit on hand. Rasins.dates.or blueberries apple.
How do you reheat the egg bite or you eat them cold?
Don't blame you wanting to get ahead & spend less time in the kitchen on other days. I love meal planning, cooking but it's the washing up that I don't like and as I only have a small kitchen with nit a lot of workspace or a dishwasher I have to clean up/ wipe down & wash dishes as I go along. Which is good, but things then take longer! Anyway those breakfast bites look really nice , bit like a crustless quiche , I love quiche so these are right up my street I did a pulled pork chilli In my slow cooker yesterday, I was having a can't be bothered day so prepared the chilli then had a joint of pork in fridge so cooked it all, them took pork out, pulled it then put it back into the chilli with some spinach so had lots of veg in it. Ot was really nice, we had 2 portions left so we had it again for tea tonight, with rice tonight, jacket potato & cheese last night. Veg is prepped for tomorrow tea, that's in fridge, a chicken dinner tomorrow. Mashed potatoes are just the best, your meatballs , mash & veg , yummy. Going to make those bagels 🥯 this week had a look at the good food recipe that you used. We've got company this weekend so want to do nice easy breakfast so will make the bagels, the breakfast bites & crumpets ( I'm so into homemade crumpets at the moment). Good luck with the job interviews Claire
Seems to me like you got loads done. I never want to spend 8 hours in the kitchen. Ugh. But, hopefully you have reaped the rewards of your doing the work on this day and that'll help you be more motivated to do it again on future Sundays. I hope job interviews went or are going well.
I’ve always use the food processor for grating cheese and chopping my onions too.
You got a Lot of preps done!!😉
The things u made today look yummy I'm going to give them a try. . Good luck with your job interviews
What about soup in the slowcooker.
Thank you Claire you did a lot it all take time even prep for one meal is bad enough and you have done a lot for the week so pat yourself on the back and filming it those egg bites looked so tasty I made some a while ago in my instant pot but I did'nt like the taste so I might try the oven way .ps your fringe looked good .xx
I love these prep ahead videos Claire. Like your new fringe too.
Curried sausages are nice, if you fancy a change.
Another idea if you are making chilli anyway, is to make double the amount and freeze half as a meal for another week. It is great to have a ready meal ready for a night when you don’t feel like cooking. Also saves cleaning up twice after cooking 😊. The pesto looked amazing.
Good luck on the interviews! I used to also hate grating things but it doesn’t bother me as much anymore for some reason. But I refuse to peel anything! 😅
When it's properly cold in winter, i find there's nothing like corn flakes and hot milk.
Mashed potato is great. If i could have my way, I'd happily eat mashed potatoes every single day. Thinks perhaps i can. With sausages, peas and onion gravy like my grandma used to make. Or with chicken pie. Or on days when I'm particularly struggling with my mood, just lots of it with cheese.
Is fringe new?
I hope you get some financial gain from all these blogs that you put so much work into. Thanks Claire and good luck with your interview xxx
Thanks for sharing love your videos are you going to link recipes
Love your hair Hun 🖤🐈⬛
Thanks Clare. Good luck with your job interviews xx
Loved this video Claire ❤️😘
Am I the only one that grates carrots into mince beef dishes rather than chops them? I find they disintegrate more which I prefer 😂
Hope your job interviews goes well! You got this! New year new you!
Wishing you every success with the job interviews Claire! Will definitely be trying the egg muffin recipe😋
I don't mind shredding foods, but I hate peeling foods like potatoes or apples. I don't mind slicing , chopping , dicing etc.. And you are right about utilizing our food processors. It makes such quick work of things. By the way I love bangs on you. Hot, hearty meals are so welcoming this time of year. And absolutely clean as we go. I have been teaching my children cooking, and tell them little tips like that to make cooking more enjoyable. While something is mixing in our stand mixer, or simmering on the stove, or waiting for water to boil etc. do yourself the favor of cleaning up. We are on our way to Aldi today, and I want to get some fresh broccoli for dinner. Yummmm. I can't remember, but have you tried making freezer meals for the crock pot? YOu did such a great job on this. Your future self will thank you . Always good to see you Claire. Have a lovely day ! 😀❄☃💗
I live in a small town Claire and our greengrocer and butcher are not open on a Sunday or Monday. Our bakers is also closed on a Sunday. It has always been this way. I think we have just got used to supermarkets being open all the time and expect other shops to be as well. I like to buy local as much as possible so have just planned my shopping days to suit. Great video, love the recipes. 😊 xx
😂 1:44 I live in Germany. Over here NO shops are open on a Sunday. Nowhere (as far as I know). Thanks for another lovely video, Anne
Im a 20 y old college student, love your recipes, you're a great mom like figure, thank you.
Sausage casserole is a good hearty option in cold weather like this. Goes well with mash, too
Great prep. Fingers and toes crossed , Good luck x
