Instant pot bbq chicken
1 cup bbq sauce of choice
1-2 cup liquid of choice( i am using chicken broth)
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 tbsp each onion and garlic powder
1 tbsp each sea salt and black pepper.
1. Place all chicken thighs in the bottom of your instant pot.
2. Put in your liquid and 1/2 cup of bbq sauce. Add all spices.
3. Cool on Pressure cook/manual high for 8 min 4. Perform a quick-release of the pressure, testing the chicken with a thermometer to make sure it is 165F inside.
5. Transfer chicken to a pan and spread remaining bbq sauce on the thighs and broil for 4-6 min until golden on top.
Serve with whatever side you would like we are having green beans and mashed potatoes.
Note * Expect your Instant Pot to take 10 minutes to reach pressure and begin the cooking process.
