I know I'm sooooooo sooooo late to the party 🙂 But loved the updates and I think I"ll use my instant pot this week too… trying to be about 80% plant based… just cause really but I know if I search Pinterest I can find something yummy to try. Glad you're back! It's been a busy summer over here for me too… lots of work cleaning out my parent's place. We're taking our time though, going to sell the property in the spring I think so it's been good to go through things. It's also inspired me to clean out big time 🙂 Again, glad you're back…love your vlogs!

Ahhhhh! So glad you have come back! It's so great to see everyone's face! I'm so grateful to hear that your Grandma is doing well and I hope she gets to go home soon, but it's sounds like you have had lots of great family time with her and that is awesome too. I so want that little round shelf and I love the chandelier. Little touches like that can really turn a room into something special.

Great video. I'm new to Keto. I subbed you and I'm excited to go through your vlogs. We're also huge BB19 fans! I have a few vlogs. It helps me stay accountable. I went to the doctor today and on his scale it said I lost 30 but on my scale I'm down 25. I'm still excited about this journey and usually I self sabotage but I'm in it for the long haul. I want to set a good example for my daughter.

Hi, just joined your channel. You are easy to listen to. Feels like I will learn and hear different topics along with good food and how to put it together. I too took care of my parents for several years. Makes me happy to hear about families who held each other.

Glad everything is going well! Missed our vlogs. We foster dogs for a rescue. So glad you are adopting!!! You could do a foster to adopt kind of thing to be sure that the dogs get along.

I grew up in NWI and I miss it and Chicago so much. I love when you drive around and show footage. I can almost always tell where you guys are at, and it helps cure a bit of the homesickness.

I think it would be great to get another furbaby! I don't know Nala's story, but are you guys open to rescue? There is a great rescue group called ABRA, and they are a network of foster parents. I know some foster parents are located in Crown Point and throughout all of NWI. They can work with introducing you to the right furbaby and getting Nala comfortable with them. I love adopting through foster parents because the animals are socialized around other animals as well as children. So you get a solid understanding if the dog or cat is good around other people and animals. Plus all animals are fully vetted, so they are 100% healthy when they come to you. They are on FB and their website is abraangels.com.

I was SO SO happy to see a vlog from you today. I've missed you! You've been in my thoughts a lot lately. I am glad to hear Gram is doing well and she is getting loved on a lot. Love the new lamp and shelf. I am going to go see if I can find one at BL tomorrow. We used to breed and show dogs when I was growing up. We had 8 Bassett Hounds (and puppies), an Irish Wolfhound, 2 Welsh Corgis and a Shih Tzu (yes all at once, then later we had multiple other breeds). We had new dogs come into the mix that weren't raised around other dogs, and they did well. It might take awhile, but they will adjust. A lot of shelters recommend bringing your dog to meet the new dog first to see how they get a long. Nali will do awesome! XO

Ohhhh how I have missed your beautiful face❤️!!! Loved seeing Alex in the video again. Super hubby he is!! Love your coffee dates ;)!!! And of course Nala just sooooo sweet as usual!!! Love love love your light fixture too!!!! I love my instant pot. It makes the very best hard boiled eggs!!! I made Brussels sprouts (3 mins) in it yesterday. Had invited family over for dinner. Did a Thanksgiving dinner in July!!! The IP makes the best mashed potatoes too. I am not doing potatoes due to Keto but made it for family to complete a Turkey dinner. That was the best investment ever. I think I use it 2-3x a week lately. Just bought a lid off of amazon for it for when I make sauces when they tend to splatter but what to see what is happening in there, haha. YAY Bro or Sis for Nala would be great!!! Nice "seeing" you, sure have missed you ❤️❤️ Ohhh and the most important thing…YAY your Grams is doing so much better!! Hope her doctors apt goes super well!!! Nice having her close by at the same time!!!

You're exactly right with Nali, she would do Just fine with another dog!! Just at first, separate their "eatings" but they'll end up being best friends! My dog was alone for 8 years and now she's inseparable from our lab pup. Your house is so pretty! It's coming together so well & fits your bright personality. Lol

So glad your back!! Love the circular shelf! I've tried getting into young living but every time I put an oil in the diffuser it gives me a bad headache. 😞 My daughter sleeps with lavender in her room at night though. Can't wait for your next vlog!

So glad to see you are back! Such good news on your Grams too, she is doing so well! Gluten free and sugar free and TASTE good? OK got to have those! I am thinking about all this Keto stuff and have been researching it for awhile. I am diabetic and Gluten and sugar make my inflammation and pain worse. I was going to talk to my diabetes doctor but I am afraid she will though a fit. I just need to eat that way for a month and show her my numbers. I have also watched Dr Berg for some time now and he says it is safe for type 2 diabetics. Going to try that recipe too even if I am the only one who will eat it.

Love you guys too!! So excited to see a vlog. I'm glad your grams is doing much better.

My mom had shoulder replacement June 29th after falling and breaking her shoulder in early June. She has been in a rehab facility before and after the surgery but was released on Saturday. It's been hard for her but she is coming along, healing slowly. So happy she is able to be home now.

I have been contemplating getting an Instant Pot. I've seen it on We Are the Wards vlog also and it looks cool.

Glad you are feeling the vlogging bug again. I can relate to the anxiety situation. Seeing my mom suffering really got it going for me and I'm working on getting it under control. I never thought about it being related to control. It's hard when you really can't control what's happening for someone else. Kind of a helpless feeling when you want the best for them. Take care!!
