    Most ramen recipes with egg that I've seen before this have either boiled an egg and cut it half, or have poached an egg and placed it on top of the noodles. I like the idea of scrambling the eggs better. I'm going to try that next time.

    When I cook quick ramen like this, I usually add canned chicken (including the water it's canned in for that extra bit of flavor) and frozen mixed vegetables while the water is coming to a boil (that ensures that the veggies are not only thawed for eating, but also cooked to the point of "tender crispness," as my mother used to put it).
    I also use chicken broth instead of water to boil the ingredients. That way, I have a fantastic broth – with all the flavors blended together – to drink after eating everything else.

    Oh my dear Helly, what in the world are squid flowers. You're Canadian so obviously can get them in North America. However, I came up pretty dry in my search. I see they're cut with a special knife but I don't see that they're available in the US. 🤷
    I'm feeling distraught. I'm not used to not being able to make one of your recipes. 😮😟 🤷
