Steak with garlic, salt and pepper in a hot cast iron skillet. 2 minutes each side, remove from heat, cover and let sit 2 minutes with a melting glob of butter on top…why waste your money on a bogus product when you don't have to?

Just a quick tip for salting steak: either salt it immediately before cooking or wait a minimum of 40 minutes after salting before you cook. The reason for this is because the salt, through osmosis, basically sucks all the juices out of the steak, but after 40 mins the juices make their way back into the steak. Anything in between immediate and 40 min is just going to drain your steak of the juices. And definitely lower that temp lol, I'd go 360

I have seen the instant pot has a special lid that you can use to turn your instant pot into an air fryer. I was wondering if you have tried it and if it works just as well as an air fryer.

Sauce for burgers: mayo, ketsup, a little yellow mustard and a splash of worcester sauce, stir. Sometimes I add relish if I have the dill version and others don't mind. Alternatively, I just use thousand island dressing on my own.

Cook the steaks from frozen and the inside will be medium rare to medium depending on the thickness. Also the outside will be a little crispy. Cooking time usually will be 12-16 minutes depending on the thickness of the steaks. It's absolutely fantastic!!

I have the Emeril lagasse air fryer and all air fryers are different so I don't even know if this would work in mine. I've tried following directions from other air fryer recipes and it doesn't work

I just bought this exact air fryer to replace my other one, because even just being me I like doing a lot of prep cooking, and needed more space. An air fryer has replaced my oven for most things which is a lifesaver during summer.

You got a new air fryer! What did you think of. The instant pot air fryer. I am wanting to get an air fryer. I keep looking at the instant pot air fryer but just so questionable about it. Thank you that beef jerk looks so scrumptious.

I always thought you had to cook the chicken wings first then air fry them. I guess I was wrong. I will have to try that the next time I air fry wings. Just have to decide if I want to air fry them in my Ninja flip oven or the IP duo crisp and air fryer. Looks good.

I did my steaks at 390 on air crisp. We did them for about eight minutes – to 165 degrees. Two on a lower rack and one on top, never flipped them. They turned out so well that it’s now my favorite thing in the Foodi. One would never cook everything on high all the time would they. Nice jerky.
