I went back and watched your first and second videos, and I noticed that you peeled your carrots and I was wondering if you take a bag or container and save your veggie scraps… like onion peels, carrot peels, celery ends and etc to add to your chicken when you make broth? I save all of mine and when I have a bag full and chicken bones I put together and make a great broth. 🙂 Love your videos, and this series, I subscribed tonite. Thank you so much for sharing and spending so much of your time showing us everything you do to save and stretch your budget. 🙂

Awesome! I love these videos. I'd really like to do one for Northern Ontario!
Have you heard of Flashfood? If not, it's an app that the Independent/No Frills grocery chain uses to sell food that is close to expiring. I think you shop at Independent? If so, might be worth downloading the app to see if your store uses it! Everything gets listed at 50% off or more, you reserve and pay for it in the app, and then you pick up in store! It's been great here.
