Jiffy corn muffins and a can of pork and beans, a cheap meal for 2, the mix goes on sale for .39 a box and the Van Camp pork in beans were .44 a can. Oatmeal is a great price from Sams!!! I would put extra dry goods like your boxes potatoes behind the containers in your kitchen to save room on your shelves in the basement. Also, I took a look at my medicine supply, I have some gaps in that to fill. Insect granules I need to spread around the house before it gets cold and the bugs start to move in. You are doing an amazing job!!!

Our sams is limiting 2 packs per family. It's crazy! Thank you for this content! You have helped me get my brain organized and I have started prepping a little. I am trying to do this because my husband is unemployed during the winter months. Thank you for sharing!

I dont peel potatoes for any reason. Including mashed potatoes. And yes I do use russet for mashed potatoes. I just wash, cube and cook. When I make potato salad…..there are peels. If the person doesn't like it..the can pick it out or not eat it. After 40 + years…..no complaints.

Just FYI that pancake mix (and any baking mix) won't keep like that. The oils turn rancid. They need to be repackaged (vacuum sealed or mylar with O2 absorbers) to remain edible in LTS. They won't last more than 6 months past the BB date if kept like that.
