Love all this and love Martha. Just prefer chunky and creamy mashed potatoes with skins on because the overly fine ones feel unsubstantial and boring to me. That's besides being way more unnecessarily time-consuming, tiring and stressful, which are NOT what you want added to all the work needed to prepare a big dinner.

I started making my Turkey about 3 yrs ago just like Martha with the Wine & Butter soaked cheesecloth. I used to always go for the Ham because Turkey was always dry and tasteless to me. After cooking it this way. OMG!! Best flavorful and moist Turkey EVER! This is the only way to go every year.

I have made her first turkey (cheesecloth one) and first stuffing recipe for two thanksgivings, and both times it came out amazingly and moist and delicious. Only feedback I got was the stuffing could do without the fruit pieces, but that’s probably a matter of personal taste.

What a lovely walk down Memory Lane watching Martha’s first method of Turkey roasting… I used to watch Martha, the very first year her show came out in 1993. I prepared a beautiful Thanksgiving Day turkey for my Son’s Kindergarten Class… Now his son is in Kindergarten this year. Unfortunately, with the pandemic and a “unbelievable” amount of children with “food allergies” it’s no longer allowed!

Really — 16 ribs of celery for the stuffing?!?! Didn't look like Martha had 16 ribs chopped up there. I always put maybe 4-5 sauteed celery ribs in my stuffing but not 16!! Seems excessive

Dear Martha, once a few years ago on TV you did a turkey roast, and the last step was you anointed it with apricot jam.. I hope you will show us this wonderful, delicious way, please..
    Thank you 🌹
