My mom had the old school pressure cooker.. scarey stuff. My older brother was messing with the bobble on top. It shot off of that like a rocket embedded in the ceiling. Steam and juices went all over. Not sure but im sure mom had to clean it all up. I'm not as forgiving as my mother was. If my sons made a mess I always made them clean it up. If you are old enough to make a mess you are old enough to clean it up.

I have never been able to get my beans to turn out like that. I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong, so I would love to see how you prepare beans in the instant pot. And maybe you already have done a video. I’ll look back through your episodes. thank you for all the great recipes!!

I can't find the comment I posted last night. There was a link so YT might have deleted it. Grrr. So, it was 2 things – a video request: a video on how to season and maintain our cast iron so that it looks like yours would be awesome! I am told that you aren't supposed to wash with soap or scrub. Just wipe it out, but so far I have not been able to do that. How do you care for yours?

The second was a suggestion for the coarse salt we love to use. The Iodine we get from our salt is so important and the regular coarse salt doesn't have it. I buy mine from amazon, the name is: Sal Bahia Iodized Sea Salt Coarse. I'll try replying to this with the link and see if it works, otherwise a person could do their own search.

I never hate on people for sharing fish recipes, because it's a recipe they are kind enough to share with us.
But I've always hated seafood. All of it. Except for maybe seaweed, for stock flavoring purposes.
