My doctor says me to consume the carbs as less as possible. Keeps it at a minimum. Because a doctor says all my problem that I eat too much carbs. They have a lot of sugar. I have a high triglycerides , fatty liver, prediabetic. I am really confused after watching your video. All I hear lately that only Keto diet can help lose weight. Because the cells of our body consists from fat not from carbs.

Ground flax is great, but you have to grind and eat it straight away, not let it sit in a jar already ground. It starts to go rancid as soon as it's ground.

Doctor Brooke Goldner talks about omega 3s and has seen huge reduction in disease in her clients using high levels of them. She cured her own lupus doing this. She's amazing, and in my opinion makes great sense in regards to omega 3s. She says it's the only oil that actually helps to heal the body. And also omega 3 oil in any form does NOT make you put on weight. It actually has the reverse effect, helping you to lose weight.

I love all these doctors too, but this is a big oversight on their part which I think they are starting to realise. Omega 3 is essential for so many things, including brain health, fighting off autoimmune conditions etc.

I have 1/2 cup of chia or flax seeds OR 3 tablespoons of flax oil daily as per Dr Goldner's recommendations. The chia I throw in a smoothiet. The flax oil I massage into kale with vinegar and coconut aminos and its delicious. My bloods are all normal and I continue to drop weight eating fruit and veges and otherwise staying away from all other oils except whole olives and avocados.

You are very inspiring Kiki. I'm wondering if you can look to Dr Goldner for more tips on omega 3s as she has the research to back it up.

Just FYI: Those store-bought leafy greens are washed in a bath of a chemical derived from bleach. That is why they have such a long self-life even if they are labeled organic. So we started growing our own. Much better.

😂😂😂 had to edit this comment. I told you this already a week ago! Can you tell I love Dr. Goldner?? Haha
I love the green smoothie. It looks very similar to the one I make. I also add in straberries to the banana and mango for my "berries" for Dr. Greger's daily dozen. Have you look into Dr. Goldner's work?????! She is also huge on greens and flax seed and she recommends getting it all into the smoothie. She has a lot of vids on youtube ubder Goodbye Lupus Dr. Goldner. She is very good at reversing disease. Also she insists on freshly grinding the flax seeds right before use because they oxidize easily and you wnt get all the benefits of the omega 3s just fiber.

That smoothie looks super close to Dr. Goldners smoothie. Look her up here on youtube 😍 she heals disease with a hi raw plant based diet b her big thing is the green smoothies for getting 1+pound greens. If you add omega 3 with flax or chia and a tad bit more greens yud b doing it 75%greens 25%fruit and 1/4 to 1/2 cup chia or flax 😍😋

i love nuts and seeds – i'm currently toying with going plant based – I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds but i'm not all there yet. I feel like the nuts and seeds will keep the weight on i need to lose since i don't eat a lot/processed to begin with. but i worry about getting bored or not getting good "easy" protein on the go without nuts. Just found your chanel – love it, thanks for the information!!

I appreciate so much the amount of reading you've done. I was able to hear Dr. Barnard speak in person, and his, and the rest of those doctors, teachings are life changing. Good for you and thank you for more inspiration.

I'm not sure when you mentioned the audio issues because I am just seeing it from other people who are commenting about it but I do have audio issues when I'm on both my phone and laptop. Your audio is very very low so I would appreciate it if you are able to increase the volume 🙏🏻 just so that a notification doesn't blow my eardrums xD

Edit: just watched to the end and yay new mic!

Hi! Do you eat any nuts or nut butters as part of your diet since you dont eat oils? I would much rather get my fats from an oz. of nuts or a Tbsp of nut butter than use evoo. ☺

You are so inspiring! Your honesty and transparency is refreshing! Your interchange about gas with your husband 😂 We recently transitioned to fully WFPB. Even after several months we are still gas bombs at times. We walk every night after dinner and many evenings it’s a musical symphony 😂
