I cooked this for my wife a couple of weeks ago. It was terrific! Now she wants me to cook it for guests in a couple of weeks. My question is about the meat itself. I went to Costco to see if they had Skirt steak. They didn’t have anything labeled as Skirt steak so I asked the butcher. He said they labeled it as Flap Steak and that it was the inside Skirt. You recommended the outside. What is the difference and is there another name for it?
Mine is marinating right now. Can’t wait.
What would happen if I did this marinade for a NY strip or Filet? ….would that be recommended? If not- why?
I made almost the same thing last weekend. I served it with sautéed asparagus and blistered cherry toms on the vine. I used the pan and my blow torch to finish them off. 😊yummy
