I love u jaanu can talk to me
Today I made hummus, won't try it ever again because it was nothing as compared to my traditional Indian cuisine, it wasn't spicy
what container do you store this in? how long will it last?
Enjoyed this recipe so much, won't go back to store bought whenever possible.
My first attempt: IP turned soaked chickpeas to mush after 10 min so I had to go with skins. Still turned out pretty awesome! thx
Wow! Hummus has never been so fine.
Thank you for your expertise! š
What is tahini?
Less talk and more coming
garlic doesnāt need to be used in houmous- my dad makes it, has grown up with it being arab, and simply uses soaked chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, ice & salt. you seem to know the best way to make it though! amazing x

Caitlin! I made this hummus yesterday and it is by leaps and bounds better than any I've ever had. I forgot to put the baking soda in so it took me two hours to take the husks off of 3 cups of chickpeas but it was well worth it. So far I've found the best way to eat this hummus is with a drizzle of good olive oil and a spoon. Thank you so very much for sharing this recipe.
The texture is great but what about spices?
Delish!!!!ššš
Omg falafel
Dude hummus from Arab countries you need to taste it their
ur hand movements in this video distracted me lol its all i saw šŖ
I use hummus instead of mayo. So much tastier and healthier. Cheaper too when you buy the dry peas which is like 1 dollar a pound where I live.
I finally made this… and WOW!! SOOOO GOOD! Thank you Caitlin!!!
Okay Iām not usually one for actually trying out recipes because I really enjoy just throwing things into a dish based on taste but MAN! Your granola AND hummus recipes are genuinely, wholeheartedly, and entirely THE ABSOLUTE BEST hummus & granola I have ever tried in my twenty years of life. So good???? I cannot wait to try every single other recipe you have ever made
Why is this video so long?
This is LITERALLY the best hummus Iāve ever made! āCurrently licking the food processor bladesā
.
.
Side note my Ninja foodi āpressure cookerā obliterated my chickpeas so I couldnāt remove the shells. Still amazing!
Spread the chickpeas out on a clean towel, cover with another towel then gently rub them… Most of the skins come off. Only takes a few mins. X
OLIVE OIL
What food processor do you use/recommend?
So. I just made this recipe, but i didn't peel them. I accidentally overcooked my chickpeas and couldn't peel them, but i processed them super hot and the skins just disappeared and its just as smooth
Whatās the difference between this video and the video you made about hummus when you came back from Israel around a year ago? Cannot really pick the difference?!
i simply eat hummus with triscuits
I love hummus with chips or carrots and also a spread for my veggie sandwiches. I recently started making a hummus pasta and itās so good.
So she didn't peel all the chickpeas so how is it going to be smooth..
More demos, Like from Israel
make vegan canolis pleaseeeeee
Same, i just went to Jordan (next to Israel) and the hummus is unreal, amazingly good, like my husband does not like our (europe) hummus at all but there he was like omg best thing ever, so i was just in a lookout for an authentic recipe š
I'll have to try this
Where did you go in Israel?
I'm so excited to try this new method of making hummus! Thank you!
It will taste like tahini and nothing else. I don't think that we need that much tahini
This was so helpful!!!
Video starts at 2:50
Ohhhh I am definitely having this for my lunch next week!
Do you tried to freeze the hummus?
I made this and it turned out incredible! I added turmeric and cumin for something a bit extra. Thank you for this video!
Loved this. Definitely prefer the demo videos like this to the overhead ones as they showcase your personality more but I totally get that the overhead ones are more accessible and quick. Keep up the good work!
I learned today that you have to let it naturally release for like 10 min per the written recipe. The video doesnāt tell you that, and the chick peas will explode and come out the vent in a mush. Still tasted great though!
