    Hello!! I made this and let it stand for 24 hours at room temperature.. for me there was no liquid separated at the bottom and it had a lot of air bubbles.. i tasted it and it was not that bad.can i still use it?

    U cant thicken it somehow by adding less milk or liquid ? I like thick like store, but sometimes it goes bad, cuz not use it all in time even small 8 oz or 16 or whatever size cuz it's just me. I only mostly use it when buy canned chili, salsa & corn chips" etc when craving mild Mexican it is still spicy, etc plus love sour cream. Stupid store on was bad curdled. I hope I can get refund. Now I'm eating without it. Ugh. Made the nachos without opening the pkg first so Idk.

    Thanks Matt. Great tip. We do not have either sour cream or buttermilk in Brazil. For Bmilk everybody says put lemon juice or vinegar in milk. However, that is merely sour milk and not real buttermilk that comes from the whey in butter manufacturing.
