    This looks ao good. I can not wait to try this recipe. I will use country ham (salted), should I still need salt? Or do I just need to taste it and go from there? I know the hame is salt cured.

    Hi Gina. I use the same recipe but I keep the bean cans just in case I need more liquid. Then I put a little of the chicken stock in each can just to scoop up the brine left on the bottom of the can for extra flavor. I enjoy watching you.

    I like red beans and rice but not with kidney beans I've only had kidney beans in chilli and I've never had tomatoes in my red beans and rice or coconut milk but this way looks good too
