Mary i love your channel …. I was going to ask you …. I cook my bone broth 48 hours at 180 …. it seems to come out great … do you see any problems with cooking it that long ? …. I do that to give it time to extract all of the goodness.

Good morning, so wonderful to watch your videos, just found you recently. Trying to watch and rewatch everything. Haven't seen all yet, but working on it. I have discovered a few facts about collagen. It is a protein, which means you might need more fibre to compensate. It can also increase your appetite. I find an apple cider vinegar drink will decrease your appetite. It can also work on me, I tend to overeat, even when full. But don't drink more than 1 tablespoon of acv per large glass. I use Stevie, a little lemon and some ginger in cold green tea. Green tea has many health benefits as do the other ingredients.
I don't have any jars to freeze the broth, what about plastic containers? Thank you for everything you do, and God bless you and your family.

Love this bone broth recipe. Bought myself a fat separator. When it is all done, I distribute the broth in ice cube trays. They freeze well, and I put all the blocks in a large zip lock bag. You can take what you want to warm up on the stove. Thanks Mary

Mary, on the glass lid, I cover my vent hole when I use my slow cooker. The water will not evaporate. Normally, I use foil, twisting the end of the foil and inserting it in the vent hole. I enjoyed this video very much and I am going to try it.

When I made vegteable broth, I dry the cooked/used vegetable in my Dehydrator for 2 days, crunch then the dried vegetable in a blender and use it for sauces and soups. It's really put amazing flavor to the sauces and soups, but just remove the bay leaves before drying the vegetables.

Mary, Quick heads up! the clips on each sides of your crock pot should NEVER be locked while cooking it can cause the lid and glass to break..They can only be used to carry from place to place (Like pot luck) while no longer cooking!

I don't have a slow cooker, but I make bone broth in my oven, roasting at 150 Fahrenheit…and go to bed. When I get up in the morning, it smells SO good in my house… depending on the type of meat, I can wait til noon to process it… or use it for breakfast!

Just a side note about rosemary…for a lot of people a very small amount can be beneficial, but people with high blood pressure, ulcers, Crohn's disease, kidney issues, or ulcerative colitis should not use it, according to Mt. Sinai Medical library.

I found your channel today. I’m so happy with your videos and how well everything is explained I would like to incorporate bone broth into my diet I have a few questions number one how do you wash this before cooking (the bone) would it matter if I get grass fed bone vs regular beef bones and lastly can I add some kind of spicy flavor to it (I can’t eat without a little spiciness. Thank you in advance. Much blessings to you and yours…

Ok I followed the recipe and it was FABULOUS!!!! I just can't get over how delicious this broth was. I'm so excited and look forward to eating it everyday. I was buying a very expensive bone broth that I thought was good. It doesn't compare at all to the homemade. I don't ever want to buy it again. So I will be trying to also dehydrate it. I also made a leek soup that I used the broth for the liquid. No cream, just spices, leeks and red onion. It was delicious thanks to that broth. I am off to try your mineral broth and plan on doing a zoom with family and friends, so we all can make it together. One question…how do you wash your flour sack towels. Mine are looking stained from the turmeric. I have them soaking. Anyway THANK YOU for sharing this awesome recipe and techniques.
