    better off rinsing/scrubbing the veggies and not peeling the skins off, all the vitamins are in the skins. if you do an 8+ hour slow cook, pre-cooking the meat is not necessary. when you start, add spices then cover with water and cook away, any time after 8 hours.

    Yep, it's Corelle!! Sometimes, I will leave the peel on the potatoes and if I use the baby carrots…there's no peeling there. As far as the celery goes….I don't like the "strings", so off they go….I'm just sooo picky. It tastes pretty good though.

    We have the same Corelle Winter White dish set! FYI, I never peel my potatoes, carrots or celery. I keep hearing all the nutrients are in the peels. That was totally yummy looking!
